Our medico legal mission is clear - to bridge the gap between complex subject matter and the legal system.

We understand the pivotal role that expert testimony plays in legal proceedings, and we are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of expertise to ensure a fair and informed legal process.

Karl is available for all aspects of medico-legal work pertaining to pre-hospital paramedic practice and public health. This includes the provision of expert advice and document review, screening and short form written reports and CPR35 compliant reports as well as meeting with instructing solicitors and clients.

Karl has undertaken formal medico-legal training and holds the Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) Expert Witness Civil Certificate. As part of completion of the Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) Expert Witness Civil Certificate, Karl has undergone training and assessment in:

Karl McGilligan MPH, MFPH

A well established clinical and strategic lead within the emergency service arena. Karl operates at a local, regional and national level, influencing government policy and is an advocate of reducing health inequalities globally.

Karl is a state registered paramedic, with a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. Karl's experience spans across a 20 year career in a range of challenging yet exciting public sector settings, including local government, custodial environments and the National Health Service (NHS).

Karl has led high profile public health and infection prevention and control programmes for 'Outstanding' rated organisations. Karl also took a lead role in the national ambulance sector response to the coronavirus pandemic and upheld the position of Vice Chair to the National Ambulance Service Infection Prevention and Control Group throughout the NHS level four national emergency.
